This place has no idea what it wants to be. There's any number of exhibitions which can TRULY show art/science. Unfortunately, most of the employees here know very little about the history of art and, instead, are former employees of the children's museum. Also, this place is known for being mismanaged and way too expensive. Many more museums are going to close if management keeps up with hiring based on age as well as political correctness. It's as if they don't care about the works or exhibits. Only their politics and beliefs.

—UPDATE — —CLOSED— because they can’t afford to pay $1 a month in rent and their utility bills for a PUBLIC BUILDING THAT SALT LAKE CITY TAXPAYERS PAID 11 MILLION TO REMODEL. THEY OWE THE TAXPAYERS MONEY. The Federal Government should be notified they have been late paying employees and have violated The Americans with Disability Act. The Director had an inflated salary and could not make the museum profitable and self sufficient. The Leo should not be allowed to reopen. SLC taxpayers should be able to decide upon a different nonprofit of the arts science and technology. Poor Ken Sanders should have never moved into a sinking ship. He should move. — Boring. Dirty. Waste of Money. This is not the museum to visit. The visitor staff at the front desk are RUDE & IMPATIENT. There is a culture of rudeness and intolerance. The museum is FILTHY. They can’t afford a janitor or lands keeper. The ATE theater is not worth the price. The beanbags are never washed (beware of sitting on gum and used Kleenex). Visitors have to endure dirty needles and human waste surrounding the museum. I recommend the Natural History Museum with FREE PARKING and areas to rest for people with disabilities. Also, go to Clark Planetarium.

Fun. More expensive than we wanted.
