Super clean nice and great food
Delicious cocktails, though quite pricey. Great ambiance, attentive enough staff (I’ve only sat at the bar the two times I’ve been here, the bartenders aren’t too friendly but they’re not mean either). Food was disappointing—both the lamb lollipops and the wagyu skewers were overdone and dry on two separate occasions (def not medium rare as advertised). Portions are also tiny for the price.
Joey was the best!!
I’ve been coming to this place on and off for years, and it’s honestly shocking how far it’s fallen. The biggest issue starts before you even get inside. If you show up anytime after about 8:30, expect a ridiculously long line that barely moves. The new security setup is over the top—they’re doing extended pat-downs over things like chapstick, keys, and wallets, which slows everything down to a crawl. It feels less about safety and more about stalling while they push a $20 cover starting at 9. Once you’re in, it doesn’t get better. Drinks are outrageously priced—$25 to $30 for a single drink is hard to justify anywhere, let alone here. The live music on the main floor is painfully loud and mediocre. You can’t hold a conversation at all, which defeats the purpose of going out with friends. Upstairs, the dance floor is tiny, overcrowded, and the DJ plays the same outdated songs every weekend—nothing fresh, nothing that matches the current vibe. The downstairs used to have potential, but now it’s basically dead. There’s music, but no energy, no crowd, no reason to be there. Even the patio situation has gotten worse. It’s already small, but now they won’t even let people step out if it’s “too full,” so you’re stuck inside in an overcrowded, loud space with no break. Overall, it feels like this place is trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of people while delivering a worse experience than ever. It used to be a go-to spot, but now it’s just not worth the time, money, or frustration.
