I volunteered at JA City yesterday for my 5th grade daughter's class, what an unbelievable experience! The energy and excitement from the staff was contagious to everyone, the entire day was extremely well organized and flowed smoothly, and all of the kids really enjoyed the varied and detailed jobs they had throughout the day. 10/10 would recommend for any teacher/school/district considering JA City in the future.
A kid size real life working town with experiential learning for kids! The staff is beyond incredible with facilitating real life like learning experiences. Kids learn the importance of fiscal responsibility by working in various jobs around biztown. They receive paychecks for their work. Purchase services and items around town with cash, check, and their debit cards. Learning to budget, open up savings accounts, and even opportunities for charitable contributions! This is a must for every child and I simply cannot say enough about this program. THANK YOU to all of the sponsors who make this possible.
