I attend school here at Ensign College, and I love it! The professors here are fantastic teachers. I love the seven-week block schedule that they have. It really helps me focus. For those who don't know how it works, the semester is divided into two blocks, each lasting 7 weeks and containing its own classes. This system really has helped me focus better than other formats. It's a smaller campus, which is nice, but I love this school and the 3-year degrees you can get.

The best decision I've ever made was coming to Ensign College for my degree. (BAS Communications & Marketing) Pros: 1. faculty that goes out of their way to help you succeed because they genuinely care about you 2. course structure that prompts you to actually learn, not just sit mindlessly in class 3. diverse student body (40+ countries, all ages) who help you see the world from different points of view 4. moving away from traditional testing and toward projects that help you demonstrate your skills 5. spiritual thoughts shared in class to unite students with each other and with the Lord 6. students and teachers who pray for your success in class 7. so many scholarships available 8. environment of kind, good, helpful people 9. study of things that actually matter in today's workplace Cons: ... programs designed to have you graduate with a bachelor's in three years, so you can't stay longer (I wish I could) Come and see!!

I love coming to school at Ensign. The college is affordable for me, and I’m grateful for the many scholarships that are available for each students including new and returning students.

I earned my associate degree in 2020 and am now (2026) finishing my bachelor’s, and I’ve seen a lot of changes over the years. The campus has improved a lot. What once felt very plain and almost like a hospital now looks more modern, colorful, and inviting. The school now offers lots of off-class fun activities throughout the semester. A couple of years ago, Ensign shut down its cafeteria and added some vending machines instead, and offers limited fresh food delivered by local restaurants during lunch time only. The Digital Marketing and Communication program is a strong point though. Studio E (podcast, photo, and film room) is very professional and a great resource that students can use for free. As an international student from Brazil, I noticed a huge difference in teaching style. Many teachers (most of them are volunteers) act more as facilitators than traditional professors, which works for some students but not for everyone. If you prefer structured lectures, this is NOT for you. While the school is affordable and offers a diverse environment, the workload can be overwhelming. Ensign relies heavily on self-learning, with an ABSURD amount of work before and after class. Balancing full-time work, family responsibilities, and full-time school is honestly very difficult here, because the amount of homework is excessive. I'm not exaggerating. Overall, Ensign offers good resources and affordability, but be prepared for a very independent and demanding experience.
