Die Cathedral of the Madeleine sollte man bei einer Stadttour durch Salt Lake City definitiv auf dem Plan haben. Schon von außen ist das Gebäude beeindruckend, aber das wahre Highlight wartet im Inneren: Die Farben, die Wandmalereien und die gesamte Atmosphäre sind wirklich einmalig und wunderschön gestaltet. Besonders die Orgelanlage ist der absolute Wahnsinn – nicht nur optisch ein Hingucker, sondern auch akustisch ein Erlebnis, wenn man das Glück hat, sie in Aktion zu hören. Es ist ein toller Ort, um kurz zur Ruhe zu kommen und die beeindruckende Handwerkskunst auf sich wirken zu lassen. Ein echtes kulturelles Juwel in der Stadt, das einen Besuch absolut wert ist!
