Weird how even after I cancelled my membership after the 26th they can't refund me the amount of the renewal but they can put it under my name for use in their locations. Sounds like they just don't want to give me my money back. Thanks I guess? 🤷🏽
If you travel as much as I do, you know finding a great climbing gym can make or break a trip. I’ve been climbing for over 12 years, and I always make it a point to check out local gyms wherever I go—but this one truly stands out above the rest. Salt Lake Bouldering Project is, without a doubt, one of the best gyms I’ve ever visited. What makes climbing special to me isn’t just the routes—it’s the community. People from all walks of life coming together, setting differences aside, and sharing in the challenge and joy of climbing. This gym embodies that spirit perfectly. Even though it was my first time there, it didn’t feel that way for long. By the time I left, I had climbed with several people who were just as passionate about the sport as I am. That kind of welcoming, inclusive energy is rare. The staff were genuinely friendly, the setting was creative and fun, and the overall vibe of the gym was unmatched. If you’re in Salt Lake and looking for a home gym away from home, this is the place. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.
The music is so bad. Literally no one who is under 40 can stand to listen to it. Half the time it’s millennial cringe edm that sounds like farting
My favorite climbing gym in the world. Friendly collaborative environment from total beginners to national level competitors. Clean (MERV 13 air filtration), super fun movement, frequent set changes, system boards, welcoming and supportive staff. Great coaching (have worked with both Abe and Haley). You really can’t go wrong. Very worth having a pass here even if you already have a membership at a rope gym in town
