SC broadband has been fantastic! 5 stars
Our Internet was cut for over 5 hours today without any communication or notification. I work from home and lost half a days pay without any information about when Internet would be restored. I was completely unprepared and unable to reschedule deadlines and assignments. Crews randomly showed up on our property and then left without any notice, communication, or confirmation at all while Internet remained off for several more hours. So unprofessional!!
Was a game changer for life in Big Water, for sure. At the Kanab office~ Elaine's customer service was above and beyond. Give that lady a raise!
The wait is over, and we are loving the Gig Fiber Internet -- no more buffering in Duck Creek!!! Our technicians, Keagan and Hayden, were especially thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. They took time to explain our options and how the system operated, helped us download the mobile app to give us more control, and provided recommendations for enhanced services to meet our needs. Our kids and grandkids will visit us more often now that their devices will connect as they are accustomed to (while I still maintain the control with my app -- lol!!). Thank you South Central, for bringing the service to the mountains.
Awful customer service and deceitful people. I have a phone line with them, has never worked, when I call to get that fixed they say they will call me back, never do. Still doesn't work to this day and its been over 2 years. When they installed our internet cable they ran it across our acreage, unannounced to us, so when we tried to put in a water line we accidentally dug it up, when they came back to fix it, they charged us $400 not including our regular monthly bill, we asked that they spread that out so we could pay it and they took it all at once making it so we couldn't pay other bills. I have had numerous problems with the service of this company and when I call to get help they act sweet on the phone and then do nothing or worse. I will be happy to cancel them in the near future.
