My daughter and I started with Healing Reins Ranch 5 years ago. From the very beginning they were knowledgeable and passionate about horses and western pleasure riding. They took the time to explain the fundamentals of western riding, including proper saddle placement, mounting, and basic riding techniques. Their patience and encouragement made us feel comfortable in the saddle, even my daughter, who was brand new to riding. What started as a fun activity for my daughter and I to enjoy together, has turned into a passion and love of competition for my daughter. She has competed in the Heartland Ranch Horse shows the last 3 years with Healing Reins by her side the whole way! I highly recommend Healing Reins Ranch for kids or adults! My two daughter call this place their second home. They have learned so much about ranch riding, responsibility, caring for horsing and everything that comes with it. Tammy believes in her students and coaches with kindness, integrity and knowledge. She teaches them the tools they need to be a great rider as well as responsibility they can carry with them during their lifetime. She’s knowledgeable and fun to be around. I HIGHLY recommend Healing Reins Ranch. You won’t be disappointed!
What started out as a possible hobby has turned into a lifetime love of horses and planning an equine career.
