Cleveland County Schools goes above and beyond to ensure that my heart patient daughter's needs are met. They are caring, professional, and attentive to every students needs. They listen to any concern that a parent may have with compassion and understanding.
1 star is the price for an official transcript going to a community college within North Carolina. Why do I have to pay $15 to have my high school send MY transcript to a college ELECTRONICALLY. In total I paid $45, because I chose the $30 dollar expedite fee, so it takes 2 days instead of 5. My other institution charge $2.50 to send a transcript and it processed immediately.
Violates the first amendment rights of their students.
Great staff. Mr. Borders was very helpful last school year when my daughter moved in with me. He made sure she was placed at a school that could meet her needs. We saw him at Shelby Middle school interacting with the children last year at the Christmas play.
They don’t respond well to their students getting bullied and harassed. It’s like they wait to the issue escalate before really addressing what’s going on. It should be more action taking place when a student and parent come to staff about situations they’re having concerning bullying and harassment. Bullying shouldn’t be taking lightly. How they operate when it comes to bullying is terrible. The school should really do better instead of waiting on something bad to happen.
