It's a wonderful experience in history. First is all the info inside the museum (Classroom) of this interesting Ghost Town. Second is the wonderful easy trail that wanders through the remains of the town. I met someone who grew up in the area on a ranch. Back in the 1970's there would be a monthly potluck and dance in the classroom. She remembers playing through the town with her sister, the music in the classroom.
It's a waste of your time, there's nothing interesting or historical here.
Interesting historical site. The schoolhouse had a lot of interesting artifacts, informative displays, and photos. Be sure to drive on up the by-way to Hillsboro. The silver mining history surrounding this area is really neat. And dont forget the cemetery!
Great place to visit. It’s an amazing piece of history, with breathtaking views. It’s worth the drive.
