I’ve been to the Keatley Center twice, but the second time was different. That time, I walked in ready—ready to change, ready to grow, and ready to accept the support my teachers and the staff were offering me. Looking back, if I hadn’t signed up to finish my education, I honestly don’t know where I’d be. Maybe still working at Burger King or McDonald’s—and there’s nothing wrong with that, because I’ve done it before—but deep down I knew I was meant for more. Today, it’s 2025, and having an education isn’t just a good idea—it’s necessary if you want to live with stability and not constantly worry about the next paycheck. The Keatley Center helped me take that important first step. They didn’t just guide me; they pushed my life forward at a time when I needed it most. Because of their support, I graduated. I went on to college for Medical Assisting. I earned my driver’s license. And one of my proudest accomplishments—I got a job at the hospital. These were dreams I once doubted I could reach. I’m 32 years old, and after going into cardiac arrest on December 5th of last year, I realized just how precious life is. That moment reminded me that every second counts, and every chance to better yourself is worth taking. If I can come back from that and rebuild my life, trust me—you can too. The word can’t has no place in your story. If you need a ride, they got you! If you need extra study time—or help with a math problem at 7:00 in the evening—they got you! They believe in you, even on the days you don’t believe in yourself. You are worth the effort. You are worth the work. And they’re already waiting to help you take your next step.

I love going to this school to learn English; the teachers and all the staff are very friendly, and I learn a lot.
