I want to start this by saying that I am a Cancer Survivor with severe PTSD with my triggers being hospitals, nurses, physicians, etc. I also have numerous medical issues besides my documented PTSD. I had been going to Ellinwood hospital since I moved here in November of 2022 for my Gastroparesis but that changed about a year ago when I got Dr. Brown, or should I say the liar and medical record falcifier. Because when I went last time for my Gastroparesis as I have always I tell the nurses that I am going to need something for my PTSD so that I can actually stay and get treated. About 10-15 minutes go by, no iv at this point, and a nurse comes in to tell me that Dr. Brown said the new policy of the hospital is they can't give narcotics to patients because the new hospital is too close to the highway. Now I've been to lots of hospitals actually Children's Oakland the one I had my cancer treated at was directly off of an interstate off ramp, so I knew his "policy" was a lie. But I said ok cause I knew I needed fluids, so the nurse tried hooking me up to an saline iv bag and I couldn't do it and said "nope I'm gonna have to leave" and I did. We'll cut to about an hour later as I'm still throwing up and loosing fluids I went to the Great Bend hospital to get treated, seeing as Ellinwood wasn't going to help me. As soon as I got in a room there a doctor came into my room to confront me about my stay at Ellinwood. She had told me that she knew that I was just at Ellinwood hospital I said yes and explained what happened. She then told me that it said in my Medical report that Dr. Brown had treated me and even given me the narcotics that he told the nurse I wasn't allowed to have do to this "new policy". I told her that's a flat out lie and showed her that I was never even poked by a needle or iv and they ended up treating me but still wanted me to follow up with my primary about being a "drug seeker". I have not been to any hospital or doctor since that night and it's been well over a year, ya know typical drug seeker behavior. But Dr. Brown made my PTSD much worse towards hospitals so much so that I won't even go in now. Honestly I have been thinking about taking this case to a lawyer since falsifing medical documents is a crime and so is malpractice, which I believe he is guilty of both.
