I was just getting a state ID, not even a driver’s license. I kept the talk short, direct, all while saying please and thank you; and the clerk was still rude as ever. After she slid my sensitive documents across the table with one falling to the ground, she also kept my folder and binder clip. She threatened to call the guard over when I asked for them back.
Going to the DMV is not necessarily a fun errand. But the staff here is so kind and professional, they certainly make it a smooth experience!
My appointment was for 1:00 PM on March 26. I happened to be in that part of town a little before 10:30, I went in and asked if there was any chance I could renew now. As they weren't busy at that time, they checked me in, I was finished in ten minutes. On April 4, I received my license in the mail. Excellent customer service, excellent turn time. Only nine days, start to finish.
