I am a 3rd year college student currently studying at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. I had the opportunity to study mathematics under Mukesh sir at Adyam coaching in Durgapur. His teaching methods truly stand out — clear, structured, and concept-driven rather than just rote learning. He always emphasized understanding the “why” behind every topic, which made even the toughest concepts feel easy. What really made a difference for me were the quiz discussion sessions. These sessions were highly engaging and insightful, where each problem was discussed in depth. They helped me explore multiple approaches to the same question and opened my mind to new applications of concepts. This way of learning strengthened my problem-solving ability and built confidence in tackling challenging questions. Because of the strong foundation I gained at Adyam, I was able to approach competitive exam questions with a more analytical and confident mindset, which played an important role in my journey towards IIT Dhanbad. Adyam is much more than being the best coaching institute. Mukesh Sir supported me not only academically but also mentally—something I didn’t find elsewhere in Durgapur. He takes genuine ownership of the entire batch and ensures that every student grows. Beyond results, his focus is on deep conceptual clarity, visualization, and holistic problem-solving. His belief that small, consistent effort is enough to crack JEE makes learning very sustainable. Even during my time at IIT Kanpur and in demanding professional roles, I still rely on the thinking and values shaped by his teaching. Mukesh Sir welcomes questions, debates, and challenges, making mathematics intuitive. I am currently a passout BSMS student from IISER Kolkata and, currently, am pursuing PhD at IISER Kolkata itself (Physics). I have studied under Mukesh Sir in Classes 11 and 12. For me, Sir had had a huge contribution in my Mathematical foundations of Classes 11 and 12. He not only cleared all my concepts but his unique way of teaching Calculus and Algebra via Graphs and Coordinate Geometry using Geometry also helped in arising in me an interest towards Mathematics, so much so that I started enjoying studying the subject and solving problems. This resulted me in scoring the highest marks in Mathematics out of all the subjects in most competitive Exams I gave in Class 12, be it Engineering Entrance Exams like the JEE, or Science Entrance Exams like the IAT. The most important thing about Sir's teaching is that he starts teaching every Topic from the scratch and enables one to develop a critical Thinking about the Topics in the subject, instead of teaching tricks or Special Formulae, which not only helps one visualize the Subject but also gain a confidence of applying the Concepts in problems and, hence, approach them confidently.
